Sarah makes a delicious Cherry Cheese Pie. Part baked, part chilled, this is a dessert that is so good it won’t last long!

1 cup flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
Pinch of salt
½ cup chopped nuts

8oz package cream cheese
½ tsp vanilla
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup powdered sugar
1 small carton extra creamy whipped topping
1 can cherry pie filling

Crust Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees (350 for metal pan)
Mix flour, salt and sugar
In a medium bowl, combine flour mix and melted butter. Mix well
Press dough on sides and bottom of an 8×8 cake pan
Press chopped nuts evenly into bottom of pie crust
Bake for 20 minutes
Allow to cool completely

Filling Directions
Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar in a large bowl. Mix well.
Add vanilla, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Add whipped topping. Mix well.
Spread on cooled pie crust
Spread cherry pie filling on top
Leave in refrigerator at least four hours.
Serve and enjoy!
